The Edge Banding machine Flexa 607 is an extremely versatile machine with high level performances that place it at the top of its category.

Advantages

Productivity: the high processing speed up to 22 m/min ensures an high productivity in all working conditions. The XE version with controlled axis allow an extreme fast and precise set-up of the machine.

Flexibility: the possibility to equip the machine with belt pressure unit allows to process any type of material.


STANDARD EQUIPMENT

 

• Control panel situated at the machine infeed which can be moved to
  an ergonomic position.

• Soundproof protection cabinet with polycarbonate windows for

  inspection of the units during machining, covered with acoustic

  insulation and complete with internal cabinet light.

• Machine base made of bended and welded steel that ensure high

  rigidity of the structure.  Special openings for out-feed of not
  suctioned chips.

• Panel support roller conveyor on entire machine length with

  telescopic opening system and sliding wheels  made of plastic with

  rotating pins made of steel.

• Feeding chain track made of industrial chain with high grip rubber
coated pads. The chain track pads slide on two steel guides, one with
  a circular section and one with a flat  section, to guarantee feeding

  straightness and resistance to lateral loads. Automatic lubrication of the

  pads with optimisation of oil quantity according to processed panels.

• Panel insertion spacer at machine infeed that allows panels to be

  inserted at the correct spacing rate (time between panels). Automatic

  regulation of the distance according to working speed.

• Upper pressure unit made of bended and welded steel, supported by

  steel columns to assure the solid structure on which operating units are

  fixed.

  Two rows of panel pressure wheels made of high grip rubber sliding on

  ball bearings.  Guards to cover the wheels.

  Electronic lifting of pressure unit according to panel thickness.

• Top operating unit fixed on pressure unit or mechanically connected

  onto it, to allow its automatic adjustment according to panel thickness.

  Bottom units fixed on chain track beam for a precise reference with

  respect to the panel.

Suction hoods of operating units placed on upper side of the
  protection  cabinet.

Electrical system

Electrical system according to current safety regulations placed inside a metal container with door that allow easy access for the operator.

"MEGA 300 TS" Touch screen control system

Numerical control situated at the machine in-feed which can be moved

to an ergonomic position

Main features:

- Control of working units and automatic sequential start up of motors.

- 12" color Touch screen monitor.

- Control and adjustment of glue tank temperature.

- Graphical simulation of machinings for each side of the panel.

- Graphical representation of all operating units and their status (on/off).

- Memory capacity: 100 customizable edging programs, of which 6 with
  rapid recall (favourites).

- Simple and guided diagnostics for easily resolving any eventual errors.

- Partial and absolute machining statistical data including number of
panels processed, length of edging processed, time machine has been
  switched on, distance covered by chain track.

- Selection of 1st or 2nd run without changing program.

- Unit of measurement in mm or inches can be selected.

- Working temperature from 0° to +45°C.

Teleservice

The system allows to connect via Internet machine control with customer service Casadei. For access of the control MEGA 300 to the network a C is required (at customers charge).

Software equipment: connection program that allows to create:

- Analyse and on-line modification of configuration status, machine

  parameters and programs

- signal diagnostic

- Data back-up

- Up-date machine logic

Access to Internet with the PC is at customers charge.

Bar code

Pre-arrangement for bar code reader. Allows a bar code reader to be connected in order to integrate the machine in a working cell.

WORKING UNITS

Pre-milling unit "TR/E"

This unit is positioned before the gluing unit and is for pre-milling the panel edge to obtain an optimum gluing surface. It has 2 cutters, mounted on high frequency motors, equipped with automatic timed intervention to avoid damaging the panel and can be adjusted vertically so that the tool is centred correctly with respect to the panel.

Technical features:

Adjustable removal by means of knob and numerical readout depending on positioning of the entry guide.

Two automatic positions to work with the unit switched on or off.
Front copy pad for constant and precise removal along the whole panel length.

Timed air blower for cleaning of the processed side

Suction hoods for chips

The unit is equipped with a pair of diamonds tools H= 49 

(D= 100 H=49 Z= 3+3). Max. working panel height 45 mm

(For processing of 60mm it is necessary to add the option)

Gluing unit

"GP/1100 P XE"

Unit for automatic gluing with hot melt glue of edges in coil and strips on straight panels.

Glue pot

- Independent motorisation for continuous recirculation and recovery of

  the glue 

- anti-adherent treatment to facilitate the glue replacement and

  maintenance

- glue spreading roller with special ribbing to assure homogeneous and

  optimised glue spreading

- Glue spreading roller rotation direction can be reversed 

- glue temperature is controlled by digital thermo-regulator

- glue pot temperature with automatic lowering when machine has

  not been used for a while.

- double glue temperature adjustment for management of two different

   working temperatures (not available in case of spreading slot)

- adjustment of the glue to be applied

- rapid release of the glue pot "Quick Lock"

- Kit "EASY" for automatic exclusion of the glue tank in case of non use

  or stop of the feeding chain and automatic locking system of copying of

  the glue tank  on the final panel section

Pre-melting for EVA glue

Ensures maintenance of a constant and optimal temperature of the glue in any working condition.

Pre-melting unit complete of container for 4,8 litres of glue grains and glue tank with capacity 0,5 Kg. (2,6 kW).

End trimming unit "IK/S"

The unit allow precise cutting of the edging overhanging the front and rear of the panel being processed (even post/soft-formed panels).

Front and rear end precision trimming is reliably accomplished due to a robust structure and by two motors which slide on prismatic guides with ball runner blocks. This ensures there is no play and maximum repetition.

Technical features:

Two high frequency motors

Automatic, independent tilting (front/rear) of the blades from 0° to 15°

Two working positions that allows to cut with or without leaving an exceeding edge

without the use of Allen keys and/or other tools.

Each motor has a feeler to guarantee perfect positioning of the blade with respect to the cutting point.

Both motors have dust extraction hoods fitted over the cutting zone.

A pair of blades is supplied with the machine.

Top and bottom trimming unit "TS/P"

The unit allow trimming of the edge on the top and bottom part
