    The quality of the INDUSTRIE 230 HD models becomes clear as soon as youswitch them on: Barely audible drive noise.No vibration at large cutting depths.In fact, the 230 HD models at 2,635, 2,835 and 3,055 kgare the heaviest in their class and thanks to their extremely robust construction - for example, high-frequency hardened prism guides - they are ideal forheavy and continuous operation.The 230 HDs offer an extra large spindle boreof 80 mm for machining bar stock up to 2 1/2 inches (76.1 mm)in diameter. A turning size via slides of Ø 290 x 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm and a maximum turning diameter of 460 or 700 mm covers all the bases when itcomes to machine, steel, plant and tool construction - along with 12 speeds for 170 longitudinal and transverse feeds and 150 lead screw pitches for metric andimperial threads*. Special advantage: No external change gears, but a conveniently operated countershift on the gearbox housing.The tool carriage of the 230 HD models is equipped with a time-saving feed shut-off mechanism and with a three-stage settingshaft. An adjustable feed shaft slip clutch provides protection againstoverload. A mechanical rotary spindle foot brake and a coolant system complete the picture of this high-performance machine.All 230 HD models have plenty of features and aresupplied with a quick-change steel holder set for fast turning tool changesand a SINO digital position indicator.
