  • Heavy-duty centre lathe, 4,000/5,500 watt

    The INDUSTRIE 230 K models are robust, heavy-dutycentre lathes with a heavy cast iron base and machine bed. Both models are equipped with a tool slide with anadjustable overload slip clutch and,thanks to a two-stage, 4,000 and 5,500 watt drive unit, can easily cope withlarger cutting depths.The maximum turning diameter above the machine bed is460 mm, with the bridge disassembled, machining up to 630 mm ispossible. With slides, a maximum turning size ofO 275 x 1,000 or 1,500 mm is possible. A spindle bore with Ø 52 mm allows machining of 1 1/2 inch rod material (48.3 mm).The 230 K models are equipped with a mechanical foot brake for quickspindle stop and a position stop to prevent lathe chuck collision. A separate lead screw circuit (lock nut) and draw spindle coupling on the tool slide protectsthe drive and offers advantages in terms of easy handling.Also noteworthy is the very robust tailstock for coping with large compression and centring forces.The Industrie 230 K models feature 12 easily adjustable speed ranges from 40 to 1,800 rpm, 170 longitudinal and transverse feeds and 150 pitches for metric and inch threads.Ideal for series production: Supplied with a SINO digital positionindicator and a five-piece quick-change steel holder setfor efficient tool changes.
