At the same time, these smooth-runninguniversal lathes with self-centring spindle are just as good at producing small precision turned parts and fine threads.The INDUSTRIE 250 HD models offer a turning diameter of max. 500 mm, 720 mm without bridge. A spindle bore diameter of 80 mmenables machining of bar stock up to 2 1/2 inches (76.1 mm).The spindle clutch transmission offers 24 adjustable speed levels. 80 longitudinal and transverse feeds and 179 metric and imperial thread pitches cover all the usual requirements of machine, steel, container and plant engineering companies.A newly developed joystick on the tool carriage offers maximum comfort for safe control of the longitudinal and transverse feed. A rapid traverse drive with a longitudinal or cross-sectional speed of 4.5 and 1.9 m/min. respectively allows a significant reduction of non-productive time.The INDUSTRIE 250 models are equipped with a mechanical spindlefoot brake. Flexibly adjustable switching elements for automatic feed stop, a quick-change steel holder for fast turning tool changes and a digital position display from SINO make them ideal for efficient series production.
