  • Product description

    The PROFI 1000/165 is a tried-and-tested universal lathe for small to medium-sized applications, popular with cutting technicians, metalworkers and mechanics. It offers a turning size over slide of Ø 198 x 1,000 mm, a diameter of up to 330 mm and a spindle hole Ø 38 mm. Thanks to a turning spindle foot brake to reduce auxiliary process times and an integrated coolant system, the PROFI 1000/165 is ideal for use in flexible individual part and small series production. High process and working safety is provided by a spindle lock to prevent simultaneous use of the lead spindle and feed spindle, a position stop to prevent lathe chuck collision, chuck protection with a safety switch, a zero voltage trigger and an emergency stop button. The PROFI 1000/165 is powered by a motor with an output of 1,500 watts, has eight speed levels from 70 to 2,000 rpm and 20 longitudinal and cross feeds - enough capacity for slow knurling, coarse smoothing and high-precision finishing or machining of non-ferrous metals. Up to 63 feed rates for metric and imperial threads can be set in just a few steps. The machine is very well equipped for a quick plug & play launch. A quick-change tool holder set for fast re-fitting and a SINO digital position indicator - ideal for continuous professional use - are particularly time-saving features.
